The popular contemporary image of Caesar is as a ruthless, bloodthirsty dictator and tyrant, but that is far from the truth. In his time the popular image of him was as a benevolent and beloved leader . There is a bust of Caesar in the Torlonia Museum which many claim resembles Jesus .
